L.A.J. (Leslie Ann Jones to you)

I love Pensado's Place - its a great podcast. Episode 99 featured L.A.J or Leslie Ann Jones if you don't know her like I do...OK maybe we are only friends in my mind. Anyway, the episode with Leslie is awesome. This particular episode was shot on Skywalker Ranch where Leslie is the Director of Music and Scoring. In the interview I learned that Leslie and I have a lot in common; we both played guitar when we were younger but couldn't go any where with it so we became engineers; we both prefer working on staff instead of being independent because we suck at selling. So that's it, I am on my way to being a Grammy award winning engineer!
Not only did Dave Pensado interview Leslie, she also gave a tour of the 60x80 sound stage and explained some of the acoustical design. She talked about recording an orchestra and how they facilitate setting up mixes to the 60 headphones for the musicians with one engineer assigned the duty of headphone mixer.
